| #1Sands666Oct 07, 2013 15:13:55 | Does a D&D Monster's power level (damage dealt, hit points it has, powers effects against PCs, etc) transfer over well enough for the encounters to be balanced? Gamma World only goes up to 10th level. I tried calculating monster HP with the original DMG 4e rules and the HP was the same as each creature I tried to calculate for, all except for a 10th level solo which had 400 hp instead of the 424 I calculated using the book. Wanted to create some new monsters for Gamma World. Has anyone else used D&D Monsters or created their own in a balanced way? |
| #2Tony_VargasJan 05, 2014 14:00:24 | I've used the Monster Builder to create Gamma World monsters with fair results. Gamma World isn't as meticulously balanced as 4e, so you have some wiggle-room. |
