The rules for shift and resistances do not seem to be in the Gamma World book. Can anyone either point me in the right direction in the book, or tell me the required info? Google has thus far failed me on both counts.

Shift is a form of movement and is defined on page 20. Resistance is a special form of defense and is defined on page 104.

As for shift, it just says they shift 1 square. I might be being dense, but does that effectivley mean that they just move one square in any direction, but as its a shift not a move, there are no opportunity attacks? Is there anything else different?
