Jan 15, 2011 19:28:46 The movie and marathon on Me-TV made me want to stat up a Hornet, possibly Radioactive, and then I see there is arachnoid and cockroach, but no hornet. No bee. No wasp. Nothing I recognized as a stingng creature that might be easily refluffed.

Anybody consider this and have home rules for a hornet? I can always choose skin color: green.

Jan 16, 2011 11:04:53 The closest I can find, actually, seem to be Gelatinous or Fungoid, oddly enough. Arachnoid's decent, too. The hardest part seems to be lack of a flight speed, which is only available through the Hawkoid.

If you swapped the Arachnoid's Spider Climber for Hawkoid's Flight (complete with penalty to attacks like the Hawkoid), then changed Toxic Webs to Melee 1 (one creature), Con vs. Fort, and possibly 2d8 base damage, I think you'd have a fairly decent approximation.
