Take a look at the Article on the Disciples of Vengeance. In there is the history of a sword called "Agarach, which means “final word” in an ancient tongue". Sound familiar? How about this: "So impressed was the lord with this mighty weapon the he demanded the artisan to forge nine copies." Fragarach is back. Not the whole story, but the inspiration. The group is said to be an alliance of Erathis, Pelor, and Kord. We have talked before that Erathis is essentially St. Cuthbert, with a gender change. I don't see the Kord connection though. But in 4E, they are all good, and there is no chaotic good, so no real tension with Lawful Good anyway. An interesting read, usable in part in Greyhawk. ROB |
