Jan 06, 2011 22:39:45 What is the name of his greatsword? I looked but can't find (Greyhawk Gazeteer just says favored weapon: greatsword)

Jan 27, 2011 5:22:18 I don't recall Gygax ever writing about Iuz using a great sword in his Gord the Rogue books so I suspect the additon of Iuz's clerics using a great sword was a post Gygax addition.

Jan 28, 2011 3:27:53 Iuz has had a write up in the WoG Gazeteer but I don't think his sword was named. A more recent 3E build was in Dragon. I'll have it at home somewhere. If they named the sword I would expect it to be in there.

Feb 16, 2011 18:24:34 I have just about all published material (not including Dragon magazine or Dungeon Magazine articles) for the Greyhawk campaign world, and have never seen a name given for Iuz's greatsword.

There's a write-up for all the Deities in the back of The Living Greyhawk campaign book. It doesn't have an avatar write-up, however. If you use the Temple of Elemental Evil (1st edition) information, then when Iuz sends his avatar outside his own realm, St Cuthbert is likely to send an avatar to counter him. Unless Cuthbert doesn't like whoever Iuz is about to slaughter, like a party of evil puppy-torturers. Then they're on their own.
