#1 Eli_the_Tanner Sep 03, 2010 7:51:28	I was perusing the 3.0 Stronghold builders guidebook recently and came across a mention of a group called 'Karrick's Lancers' who were/are the builders and owners of the impressive Citadel of the Planes. After a few internet searches and book referencings later and it quickly becomes clear there is nary a whisper of this group.....and I mean nothing. Not even a fan-fic or forum question posed. This is very peculiar. It seems like they could be greyhawk linked so I come here to see what you sages can offer in any possible lore on this group and their domicile. Intrigued -Eli the Tanner P.S. An example of the lack of info out there: Type karrick's lancers into google and this thread is the only match that comes up related to the topic.
#2 oerdin Sep 08, 2010 3:53:40	Never heard of them though there was a ton of planar travel in EGG's official Greyhawk Campaign as well as in his Greyhawk books.
#3 jeffb2066 Feb 16, 2011 20:31:24	There are several groups, armies and such listed in various books that only exist in those particular books. Examples include the armies listed in Heroes of Battle sourcebook. I just flipped back through the Strongholds book and it looks like they created the 'Lancers as background for that particular stronghold.
