THARIZDUN is in fact three very old words: Thyr - rei - dhuno

Translating the Ancient Tongue
Thyr: hole, tunnel, crossover
Rei: Tear, Rift, Rip, Posession (property)
Dhuno: enclosed place, hill, town, fort (or Dun: Debt collector)

So Tharizdun is not his name, rather it is a warning: The Debt Collector is comming to take posession.

Poor Jeff. I mean Geoff. He never gets any respect :P.

As a Welshman called Jeff, I applaud these changes and would recommend them for any campaign. There is of course nothing mockable about the name Geoff (or Jeff) but as the name of a country I have particularly struggled with its use in a fantasy setting .

What if it was some egomaniac named Robert that founded a country, and called it the Grand Duchy of Bob?
