What artists would you like to see on a GH sourcebook?

May 04, 2008 19:42:01 One thing that has always been lacking in Greyhawk sourcebooks has been the interior art (cartography maybe being the exception in some products). Certainly the artists on the LGG didn't do the setting any favors. I think to really showcase the setting you absolutely must have some inspired art to go along with it.

Who would you like to see on the art chores for the 4e GH books?

WAR? Lockwood, Wood, Lazz? Swekel? Baxa? Artists from outside the WotC camp? I like some of the landscape art in Worlds & Monsters myself though I don't know who was involved with that. I'll post some work from artists outside the usual suspects later on, but I'd like to see what other work people are liking these days...

May 05, 2008 14:14:42 I figured I'd throw up one more today before I head out to see Iron Man. These next images are by Benita Winckler who does these incredible fantasy portraits. I'd love to see Iggwilv/Drelnza portrait by Benita... You can find her gallery here.

This next batch is from James Paick, who's gallery you can find here. He's done some really creative landscape and architectural stuff, perhaps not as refined as some of the others in this thread, but still quite good.

May 07, 2008 21:17:10 And the artist parade continues with Kerem Beyit, who's gallery you can find here. He's pretty good with the monsters and his character work isn't bad either, though perhaps not his strongest suit...

May 11, 2008 22:50:56 This next batch by Per Haagensen - his gallery's here. He has a nice, high detailed style, obviously a good choice as a monster illustrator... Would love to see his take on Graz'zt or some other demon lord.
