I Know that Craft is the most hated skill, simply because it takes Months to make anything more than a quarter staff. I have been working on an Addition to the craft rules to make this better. Tell me what you think
  • Itme progress for items over 100gp progresses in Gold not silver, same with Items made expensive by the materials used in them, such as making a gold necklace or an Adamantine battle axe
  • Item complexity affects Crafting time with a multiplier. Very simple (dirt mount, pile of melted metal) 10x progress. Simple (stone wall, quarterstaff, fork) 5x progress. Normal (most weapons and armor) same. Complex (some exotic weapons, Good locks) progress is 75% normal. Very complex (Amazing lock, Planar Orrery) Half normal progress.
  • Untrained helpers add to progress on up to DC 10 items, Aid another on anything higher. Trained Helpers add their checks in full to any check they can take 10 on and succeed.

This is not the finished product, But it is well on it's way. Any feedback would be appreciated.
