One of my players wanted to create a power of his own similar to the Fission Power. We have a skeleton of what we have come up with and would appreciate any help in balancing and evaluating. Its a weaker version of Fission, with clones that do not have any powers or power points, they have the characters base stats and mundane copies of the characters equipment.

Duplicate
Level: Egoist 2
Display: Olfactory
Manifesting Time: 1 full round action
Range: Personal
Effect: Duplicate(s) of yourself
Duration: 1 round/level
Power Points: 3
Augment: For every 3 additional power points spent,
another clone may be produced, also for every 2 additional
power points spent, the duration increases by 1 minute.

You can divide yourself, creating a duplicate that comes into existence 5 feet away. Your duplicate thinks and acts exactly as you do and follows your orders, although it will not do anything you wouldn’t do yourself.
Your duplicate possesses a duplicate of all your mundane equipment, clothing, armor, and implements, as well as mundane versions of any psionic or magical equipment you have which disapears at the end of the powers duration.
The clone(s) ability scores are the same as your characters base scores, no magical or other modifiers apply, the character level of the clone(s) is a third of your manifester level, its saves, base attack bonus and max skill ranks are set by the same character level (see Psion Table for saves, base attack bonus) each clone has hit points equal to 1d4 plus Constitution bonus per character level when manifested.
