Do any Forgotten Realms books from 3.5e discuss the Zakharan peninsula, home of Al-Qadim? I read on wikipedia that Dragon 315 and 321 have classes from Al-Qadim, but I'm looking for more general information.

I'm going to be running an arabic steam-punk D&D campaign and was tinkering with using Toril a few hundred years in the future, any 3.0 or 3.5 information on the area would be helpful (closest I have is the Sandstorm rulebook).

Unearthed Arcana pgs. 11-13 Desert Race Variants.

Sandstorm is good.

I can't find my FR book for 3.5, it is packed away somewhere.

For the Steam feel I would look to some of the Eberron stuff.

Some of the campaign stuff from the old AD&D Birthright setting could be good, as I recall they had an Arabic seafaring kingdom.

Sand storm had a few cool classes I haven't tried out yet, good luck.

Have you tried Al-Qadim?

Lots of 3.x stuff there by dedicated fans of the setting.
