What happened to the sticky post that was so great with 4e homebrewed classes and races?

Hmmm...

It was never on this board. It was on Hybrid (now Multiclassing etc.)

For some reason people put Homebrew stuff there.

They're now in the "Multiclassing, Paragon Paths, and Epic Destinies" forum. Why that one, I've no idea.

That is the old hybrid forum. they renamed it to say what it actually is.

I'm of the belief that if this forum was at the top of all the lists all the homebrew stuff would go here first and all those stickied topics could be moved here.

I don't know how to contact them, but if we could get ahold of the community leads, they could probably have them moved over here.

It wouldn't really matter. they work where they are. People always post their creations in the first board they see that hads anything to do with it.

Which means only a select few of us actualy post here regularly. Or even come here.

Homebrew should be the first board in the list and we'd get some more traffic.

As well as reducing clutter on the other boards.

I agree 100%.

Well, hopefully the name change will start to bring things in, but yeah, we should be more visible.

We're supposed to be the experts at homebrew, but we never get any real traffic.

It's a little depressing for me actually.

Old habits die hard. People have been doing this for seven years and see no reason to stop it. I've advocated letting homebrew just be posted in relevant forums, with houserules having their own forum, to relieve stress on the WizOs, because it's never going to stop being this way.

I dunno, I've had the urge to start reporting topics that aren't in the right spot and asking that they be moved here. /shrug

I think the WizOs will eventually get bored of moving threads all day. I predict they will make the other forums into the "right" forums fairly soon.

*shrug*

I can live with having to wade through non-homebrew stuff on a non-homebrew forum to get to something that has potential.

But I do get this massive urge to request they get moved here (or to have a link put here) so that we can take a look as a community.

Promising designers slip through the cracks because their stuff never gets here.

I've been a member on these forums for over three years. I can safely say that, no, they don't slip through the cracks. The best stuff is what becomes popular and is therefore bumped, not to mention that people subscribe to these threads. Everything ends up getting the coverage it deserves, assuming it's posted in the forums that have always been used to post homebrew, because the people get used to it being that way and thus end up going there.
