Greetings :D

I've been pondering a potential houserule for my D&D 4E campaign: Any PC may spend an action point to recharge a spent encounter/utility/daily power.

It would go along with the 'Can spend any number of action points during encounter, but only one per turn.'

I can see a number of positives benefits and some potential drawbacks, but I thought I'd get the forums collective opinion first...

Problem is that some Paragon Paths utilise this effect already, and this rule would make them vastly inferior.

Also there's armor like Veteran's Armor that allows you regain a spent daily power. About the multiple use of action points, it's a very bad idea. It allows the PC to get two or more free attacks for nothing. Trust me before I realized that part of the rule, my good encounters were being treated like nothing because of that.
