I was wondering if there was any way to implament something like this into 4th edition. I currently have 2 ideas. 1) Treat them like a Paragon Path, except you choose it at level 1, and you gain some minor powers from your Heroic Path. Maybe not damage, but certainly useful utilities based on what the Heroic Path is. 2) You choose your Heroic Path at 1st level. At 1st level, and every level thereafter until 11th level, you gain a power. (Most likely an at-will or encounter power). I understand that this would skew the power balance somewhat, which is why I'm leaning towards the first idea. The powers could be replicate things like Beastial Aura (which allows you to "turn animals as if you were a good cleric of 2 levels lower than your current level") for example. So this would be worded in 4th ed as an encounter power, that lets you deal damage to animals based on your level asthough you had used the clerics turn undead class feature. Just a cool thought I had. |
