| #1erinyeiApr 18, 2010 19:00:12 | In my campaign we needed to bring in some artificer types, something a little better than steam punks, to help with the flow of the game towards the goals we wanted in making the world we were creating. Thus, I set up a campaign along loosely associated with the movie Warlock, where they chase the powerful bad guy through a rift into a modern world. It was awesome to play, and many of my players wanted to remain in the modern world. Obviously they had to return to bring back what was needed to advance the story of the world we were making, but we have since added another storyline that let them go back. When I posted my modern stuff onto another "official 4e D&D" site, it got so many hits the server crashed. I lost 48 pages because of it. I am now working on rebuilding what I had on a new server. It isn't complete yet, but if you are planning a modern campaign it is definitely worth taking a look at. You will find modern weapon conversions, money exchange rates, gem exchange rates, new feats and skills and some good reading material that will help you adjust your modern world for your fantasy world characters. It will most likely take me months to have back everything I had on the other server, but if you like what I have, check back often for new content. You can find my site here: 4egamer.webs.com/4egamermodern.htm Feel free to leave comments about what you think of it, or what you would like to see added to it. |
