Hey folks,

I decided to start writing up alternative, supplementary powers for the 4e classes, with some inspirational help from Tome of Battle.

Critique and suggestions would be appreciated. I'm really not concerned with getting praise as much as I am with checking the quality of these powers: are they useful, balanced, and non-redundant? Would it be wise to start distributing them and using them in gaming groups? Has some source I'm unaware of already done some of these but better?

Many thanks, and now on to what I have so far:

Fighter Exploits

Level 1 At-Will Exploits
Charging Minotaur Fighter Attack 1
You charge into your foe with such force that he stumbles
back.
At-Will ✦ Martial, Weapon
Standard Action Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Special: You must charge in order to use this power. You can
move an extra square, and you do not provoke opportunity
attacks for your movement.
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage, and you push the target
1 square if it is your size, smaller than you, or one size category
larger.
Increase damage to 2[W] + Strength modifier at 21st level.

Douse the Flames Fighter Attack 1
You strike your enemy with a resounding blow, pulling his
attention away from your allies.
At-Will ✦ Martial, Weapon
Standard Action Melee weapon
Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage, and the target takes a -4
penalty to opportunity attacks until the end of your next turn.
Increase damage to 2[W] + Strength modifier at 21st level.

These are awesome, especially Eldritch Spear.

Feedback:
Douse the flames is pretty harsh. How about a -4?
Steely Strike has a line you don't want.
Overpower should probably reduce the primary damage to 1[W].
Berserker's Cry should probably drop to a +2 on your bonuses.

Intercept the Wicked should probably drop to a +2. Attack bonuses are even better in 4E then in 3.5.

Rend the Soul is almost universally not what you want to do (unless comboed with Dire Radiance) but I don't know if that's really a mark against it.

Black Thunder: How about 1d6 damage and no Con bonus per secondary? This power is incredible, especially for a single-target striker.

Corruption: Isn't this the same as a much-higher-level Fey Pact power, except with less damage and a better Pact bonus?

Deluge of Agony: "You can sustain this power as a minor
action. As a standard action" this sentence is wrong. It's just Sustain Standard. Maybe consider dropping the penalties to a -1. I can't overstate the power of attack modifiers (penalties/bonuses to defense and attack) in this brave new edition.

Force of Will should probably drop to a 2d6 or a +1 bonus, or maybe both.

I really like the ideas, anyway.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Made several changes.

Will wait on additional opinions regarding a few other powers.
