I thought of a ending for MYrealms (RPGA adventure for those who dont know). the PCs meet 5 lizardfolk. They offer a choice. Rule the swamp as kings with them or die. If they choose to be allies with the lizardfolk, they must kill 10 innocent Waterdhavians, otherwise they must fight the Lizards. If they choose to ally with the Lizards, they lie to the guards who hired them to kill the swamp threats and say they defeated the swamp threats. I was thinking the PCs could find 2 seperate groups of 5 scouts around the swamp to kill the 10 they need. Either way it works out to the same XP but gives a choice.

Would this be interesting?

Slightly. But in my experience the PCs will probably come up with an option 3.

It is hard for me to thing that the PCs would choose to 1) be kings of a swamp, 2) kill innocent people to become kings of a swamp.

Why would the Lizardfolk choose to have warm-bloods as rulers anyway... sounds like a lizardfolk joke to me. "What! You really went out and killed Waterdhavians? I hope you brought back the bodies. We'll have to cook them for royal feast. Didn't I tell you that part?"

Once they've committed to their evil and selfish choice I wouldn't make them work for it unless you specifically want them to reconsider. Instead have the Lizardmen present the Waterdhavians in an arena and get the bloodbath over with. Once the player's have dug deep and they start to reconsider that's when the dilemma get's interesting.
