Reading a thread today about people not using fan made adventures I realized why I don't often gravitate towards them. It takes a lot of reading to even find out weather or not a particular adventure is even notable.

So. I ask the community here, in the past what fan made adventures have you run that you found particularly notable and fun. And please don't just post your own. Only post ones you have found within the community that you have enjoyed. Everyone who has created their own adventure thinks its "awesome" so try to post links to adventures you didn't create....

I'll start with a suggestion I heard from an ENWorld community member, Sunrisekid:
"I really enjoyed reading the Northern Journey series of adventures set in the Forgotten Realms. It starts out at level 1 and was designed to move characters up to epic levels"

You can find it here:

I've used a lot of fan created adventures, supplements, and maps over the years and found the bulk of them to be quite good. The last one I used was an adventure called Where Madness Dwells. It was an amazingly well written adventure heavily influenced by Lovecraft. Here's the website:

I also get a lot of stuff from RPG Now which has a nice selection of fan based stuff. A lot of publishers have sneak peaks so you an peruse the product before buying. http://www.rpgnow.com/

I also get a stuff from Dragon's Foot, which produces the best stuff for old school D&D. http://www.dragonsfoot.org/

There is also a good free map area that is worth checking out: http://www.rpgmapshare.com/

Group effort from Dragonsfoot! Mapping the extra encounters from D1-3 (yeah it's AD&D but who says it can't be converted).
