Well, i am a rather new and green DM, in fact the only experiences i have had is nwn1 and 2 - although i have the dm rulebook, players handbook and a few others...

So basically i just wanted to "air" my ideas for an adventure i am currently planning, in port llast. The idea here is to give/get ideas for other dm's to use and abuse :P - please give critique, ideas and suggestions for improvement or the like.

I have just created my own alliance arms inn and here it is;

NPC list;

Tina Stromsdottr and Louise Fernguide- N (Commoners - Maids and waitresses, charismatic figures, trained at smooth talking and knows a lot of things about the port and sourounding areas - talks well after a few beers.)

John Dirh lvl 1 rouge, skills include hide, ms, sleight of hand and open lock - stats are fairly avarage... - CN (Failure adventurer, lost a leg and an eye to a single orc encounter on his very first adventurer, was saved by a knight and brought to the Inn, here he has stayed ever since, drowning his memories in ale and spirits. He is almost always drunk, and will do almost anything for a few coins or a place to sleep at night. - He blaims his previous adventure idols and heroes for his bad fortune and his hate towards everyone is not to miss. He also has a problem with kleptomania, and is very quick to anger, you have to rub him the right way, like most drunks. He hates Gabriel)

Gabriel Silencesbane - lvl 2 commoner - NE (Gabriel is nothing but a simple commoner with a love for music and poetry, he is a self-proclaimed master of the lute. And from young age he was bullied by "friends" and abused by parrents, very harsh. He has grown though, cold and uncaring, and likes to take every opportunity to taunt, mock or psychically hurt others - especially John Dirh, or other weak and defenseless people - to feel above others. he cares for no one but himself, although he is employed by Soern as a bard and will most likely follow Soerns words. He has two skills taunt and perform. He cares for no one but himself.)

Soern the Innkeeper - commoner, LN (Soern is your avarage inkeeper, with a good sence of buisness. He knows a lot of rumors and stories that may be helpfull to the PC's - But they come at a price. He is charismatic and has the typiccal merchants parlor and friendly smile, given for most inkeepers. Soern is almost always seen trying to calm John Dirh or polishing beer mugs. - Soern dislikes Gabriels mockery of John and often threatens to cut his sallary down if he does not stop, but seldom takes his words to action. He has a spiked club hidden under his counter and his only skill is intimidate, which he uses to calm angry customers.)
--------------
Goods;
Mug of Ale - 1 gp
Avarage wine(red or white) - 3 gp
Good wine (Red or white) - 5 gp
House special, Dwarven Spirits - 10 gp per flask
Spirits, rum whiskey etc - 7 gp.
Waterskin w. water - 2 gp.
Food rations(one day) - 3 gp
Room for 24 hours - 13 gp. - Cleaning included.

--------------

Twist at the Arms Inn
Once every few nights (1d4 - where a one is result in the following) someone who spends the night there often wakes up without gold, or valuables. - Soern hires the PC's to find out why(the reward is one days free sleepover, one room for each with free food and beverage - plus 25 golden coins for each) and to make a long story short the pc's may find that John Dirh often locks himself into the inn and the guests rooms at night, to earn gold for his next drinking adventure.
