For example, if you take any of the net training power swap feats from the arena fighting guide, it takes up your multiclass option, meaning you can't have a fighter who is an expert in net based combat and is ultilizes a sneaky and underhanded combat style (multiclassing rogue). This also includes bloodline feats, which means that it's not possible to have a Dhampyr mystic theurge type character (multiclassing wizard or sorcerer). Would it be unbalancing to allow characters to multiclass twice as opposed to just once if you kept the limit on power swap feats? For example: Let's say you have a 1st level human fighter with the first net mastery feat. Okay, when he reaches 2nd level he takes Arcane initiate-giving him a wizard at will as an encounter power. At 4th level he takes the Novice equivalent of the Net Mastery feat tree. And then at 6th level he takes the Acolyte Power swap for wizard, allowing him to swap out a fighter utility for a wizard one. At 8th level he gets the Adept power swap feat for net fighting. He's still limited to 3 total power swap feats, but may choose to swap out powers from any class that he belongs to, and he may belong to 2 different classes in addition to the base class. Can you guys see any rules abuse that could come of this, and if so how could this be prevented while still allowing for this to occur? |
