Hey everyone. I just wanted to throw out the back story I came up with today for a new FR session that me and a couple of friends will be starting up this weekend. I suppose I just want to put this out here and get a bit of feedback from everyone to let me know if this is cool or not. Now, let me state this right away before you read this: I AM NOT A ENGLISH MAJOR SO PLEASE DONT TRASH TALK MY BAD GRAMMER!!!! Thank you :D Anyhow, here is the story about the main PC: Revik's true parents are unknown to him. He was actually born to a Succubus and his father was an Astral Deva (Scorn), of Mielikki. The Succubus (Salandra) was a devoted servant to Loviatar and used her ability to disguise herself as a flawless human woman to get Scorn as her own. She held a wonderful magic item that hid her alignment from Scorn so he would never know her true self. They courted together for nearly 4 months on the Material Plane before Salandra became pregnant with the child. Once the avatars of Mielikki found about the child, they quickly sought out Salandra and took her captive. Mielikki decided not to kill the child. She had decided to leave him in the care of the Druids of the Kings Forest. There many of the Druid Elders got together to alter the child's appearance. They knew that if he were to grow up with either of the looks of his real parents, his life would not last long as it was certain that Loviatar's followers would surely hunt him down if they ever learned the truth. They spent the first tenday of the child's life praying and creating a spell that is now long lost that made the child appear completely human in all regards. Once the child was born, Mielikki left the fate of Salandra to her avatars, who then killed her. Scorn was greatly reprimanded for his actions, but Meilikki was forgiving due to the fact that it was somewhat out of Scorns control. Scorn lost his wings for 2 decades for his act to court a human woman and was ordered to never search out his child. Revik now resides with (Fathers name) in Dhedluk. The Wood Elf Druids knew (Fathers name) from the encounters they had with the loving man. The Druids decided that the child should remain with (what would be) his own kind, but they made a strict pact that they would oversee the boys life. Now, with this, the other player will be a Druid. The player (or his character for that matter) doesnt know this story, but his is a protector of Revik. Something else that I added is that Revik has a +1 to Cha, DR 2/Evil and Resis 2/Fire. And the Druid has 2 spell like abilities- 1/day Cure Moderate Wounds and 1/day dismissal. They know that they have these extra powers, but have no idea why.
