Next time I'm in a D&D 3.5 game, I want to run a fighter who specializes in crafting and using poisons/diseases. He should be able to create both using the same craft skill. As they're pretty much the same thing, but are different for the purpose of overcoming immunity. Also diseases tend to have lower saving throws and take longer to effect. Poison is instant, then a minute later more, disease takes rounds if not a whole minute to infect. However, for this to be practical, no disease or poison should take over a minute to effect the victim.

The purpose of this thread, is for me to list homebrew poisons/diseases I plan to use in the next game I'm in. And I'm listing it as a big compedium so that maybe you can implement it in your game as a player, or a DM. Note; that while the prices may be a bit arbitrary, crafting costs 1/3rd of the cost of market value, with the risk of failure and wasting your gold. So for that, prices should stay on the lower side. You can raise or reduce it even further based off the campaign setting. Obviously a very honorable city where the paladin knight errants rule wouldn't let poison run amuck, and thus the black market might list it a lot higher then recommended. Where as in a very seedy area, poison would be abundant, and cost a lot less. Or in savage territories where there's all sorts of fungus and venemous animals! Things like that, along with the creature supposedly extracted to make the potent toxin, should be considered when developing a price for it.

Much like the controversial book, the topic was named thusly to be a big cluster **** of different chemicals I've concocted in my head to implement in game. I hope you like them. I will try to keep them in alphabetical order, list their creators, and their functions. If you want to join in on the fun, feel free too.

I will update when I come up with new poisons/diseases, and feel free to make your own, and I will list them under the spoiler tags with your name as the creator in the way described below with mine. Players can thank us for having to deal with these new obstacles... lol!
