Basically every week (or so) we ask our players to do something special oriented to their character by next week for a reward (most of the time XP, but sometimes other rewards are issued). As an example, one challenge is to take a song and re-do the words to suit your character, with extra experiance if you sing it. Another would be making a visual representation of your character. I've also used ones like 'come up with a pitch for a TV show your character would host' I would like to know if you have any ideas for future challenges, or any ideas for rewards that could be used. If you have any questions about the challenges as well feel free to post them here. Thanks for your time and suggestions ^_^ |

You could try: giving out 200xp at the end of a session for the character that uses ______ (some skill) in the most interesting way during the session. One thing that I've done in my games is put the XP in the hands of the players to a degree. Give them a small amount (such as 10-20xp per level of their character per session) to hand out to their fellow groupmates when they do something cool. That something can be a really important action in a combat, making a critical skill check, or some hilarious or very well role-played discussion with NPCs. |
