Hi,

I'm gonna add this house rule to my campaign for paragon multiclassing that almost everyone think is underpowered.

Everything is the same as the PHB (209) except that at level 11 you get the full class feature from your multiclass feat.
ex.:a fighter who choose to multiclass in rogue get the sneak attack 1/enc., at 11th level, if he choose paragon multiclass instead of one path he can choose, he get full feature of the sneak attack (1/round)

In addition at level 16, he can choose a tactic from the secondary class and gain the advantage.

We still haven't test it but I'd like your opinion on this house rule. Is it too overpowering or is it balancing the sucky paragon multiclass system? Or worse, is it still underpowering in comparison to a paragon path?

The basics of it seem okay, although I think it needs tweeking per class. For example, Student of the Sword actually gets partial combat challenge and partial fighter weapon talent, so do they get full both? Or just combat challenge, then full fighter weapon talent at 16?

Do the cleric's and paladin's choose between the two channel divinity powers at 16? Or would they get healer's lore (cleric) and lay on hands?

One other thing you might consider adding is an 11th level action point bonus or alternative.

yes it needs tweeking per class indeed, im trying to figure out if i could leave the choice to the player or force them to take a class feature in particular that i would have decide he can take

maybe it could go like this:

In addition to Paragon Multiclassing in the PHB(209), you gain these benefits:

paragon multiclass cleric
LVL 11: Gain the Channel Divinity class feature.
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: Gain full Healing Word feature.

paragon multiclass fighter
LVL 11: Instead of the mark ability given by the Student of the Sword feat, you gain the Combat Challenge feature but you don't get the last paragraph benefit.(PHB 76)
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: The type of weapon you chose when you took Student of the Sword is now giving you +1 to attack rolls whenever you use that type of weapon.

paragon multiclass paladin
LVL 11: Gain the Channel Divinity feature.
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: Gain full Divine Challenge feature.

paragon multiclass ranger
LVL 11: Choose a Fighting Style from the ranger's class feature.
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: Gain full Hunter's Quarry feature

paragon multiclass rogue
LVL 11: Choose a tactic from Rogue Tactics feature.
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: Gain full Sneak Attack feature.

paragon multiclass warlock
LVL 11: Gain the Warlock's Curse feature.
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: Gain full benefits from the pact you chose when you took the Pact Initiate multiclass feat.

paragon multiclass warlord
LVL 11: Choose one of the benefits of the Commanding Presence feature
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 16: Gain full Inspiring Word feature

paragon multiclass wizard
LVL 11: Gain the Ritual Caster Feat and buy a spellbook if you don't already have both. Your spellbook can store Rituals normally and it can hold 2 daily powers from levels 1,5,9 and 2 utility powers from levels 2,6,10. After an extended rest, you can choose to prepare daily and/or utility powers from your spellbook and replace it/them with the one you got from the Acolyte Power and/or Adept Power. You can also reverse that choice after an extended rest and get the daily and/or utility powers from the Power feats that you had before preparing the ones in your spellbook.
LVL 11: Choose an action point related path feature from either of your classes Paragon Paths.
LVL 12: You can select 2 utility powers, instead of one like your paragon multiclassing development allow, and add them to your spellbook. After an extended rest you can prepare one or the other according to the number of spells you can do.
LVL 16: The option from the Arcane Initiate feat to use a 1st level at-will power as an encounter is now at-will.
LVL 19: You can select 2 daily powers, instead of one like your paragon multiclassing development allow, and add them to your spellbook. After an extended rest you can prepare one or the other according to the number of spells you can do.
