The Hobbos are going to talk to Magluybiet about the coming war with the Human settlements in the area. Now, the thing is this--the party just turned level 5. Vaurix is worth recognition by Mag, but in your opinion would the party really be? I'm really torn both ways on that. Also, the party knows there are Necromancers operating in the area with largescale animating capabilities--would Mag know/warn the Hobbos if they didn't? Basically the angle is this: The Necromancers are from the Ashen Covenant, and are waiting for the fallout from the war to gain sudden large amounts of armed and non-token undead. It will be a horrifying thing for both sides involved if successful, but without the party brooching the topic would Mag know about it? |

In my chronicles, gods share everything with eachother, so they know about the tiniest conflicts, but just don't care enough (or they do but have chosen) to intervene with most of it. There's of course the chance that, you warn the deity in question, and he goes off with this knowledge anyway. Are the -hobgoblins- worth anything to him? |

I don't know what setting you're in (FR?) or what your party has previously done, but it's conceivable that they are notable to a deity. |
