| #1ShiftkittyJun 10, 2009 14:21:36 | I saw the title as the name of a "wiz war" type game on RPGNow and thought it would make a great power, even if it's never used in a serious game.
ARCANE ASS-KICKING
Any Arcane Class Attack, Level: Any That's all I can stands, 'cuz I can't stands no more!
Actions: Standard, Movement, and Minor
Keywords: Arcane, Implement, Whup-Ass
Target: Whatever you decide
Attack: STR, CON, DEX, INT, WIS, and CHA (totalled) vs Your Choice of Defense
Hit: Every attack power you've got, whether or not it's already been used, activates on the target(s) at maximum damage.
Miss: Target(s) are stunned, overawed by what they've just witnessed, until the rest of the party dispatches them.
Aftereffect: Wizard collapses, unconscious until after an extended rest. Also, there seems to be a "dent" in the fabric of reality where the spell went off.

Give it a serious name, a more distinct effect, and it would great for an RP-rich setting where the wizard is extremely angry. I've had a (pre-4e) sorcerer create a miniature star and hurl it at the earth, so this could work. And yeah, that PC probably claims hax that Cosmic Sorcerers show up three years after he played one.
EDIT: Made a more serious version for a one-shot attack if anyone wants it. Not to say, of course, that the tongue-in-cheek variety isn't awesome incarnate.
Ultimate Spellstorm
Wizard or Sorcerer Attack 1 With one last roar of fury, you let loose all your arcane energy in an attack that leaves naught but devastation in its wake.
_______________________ Daily ✦ Arcane, Implement Standard Action Close burst 50 Prerequisites: Must be a Wizard or Sorcerer. Requirements: You must be in a fit of pure rage to use this spell. This status is to be decided at the DM's disgression. Target: Creatures in Burst Attack: All Stats Totalled vs. AC
_______________________ Hit: 10+Level d10 acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, radiant, and thunder damage. Miss: Half damage. Effect: The encompassed area is utterly destroyed and becomes difficult terrain. In addition, the fabric of the material realm weakens in this area, causing it to change in bizarre ways. There is no known way to return the area to its former properties.
Effect: The caster drops to one point above negative his bloodied value and remains unconscious for one day. Any implements used in the spell are damaged beyond repair and cannot be salvaged. In addition, the caster is powerless for d6 days (or longer if the DM decides) and cannot cast spells or rituals. His spells may take time to return, making it so that one spell may be relearned in order of level per day after his power returns.
Special: This action takes two turns to charge, and activates on the third turn. While charging, the caster gains resist 15 to all damage. In addition, the damage dealt from any arcane-based attacks against the caster while the attack is charging (before reduction) is added to the damage dealt by this attack.
