Active power: the mini gelatinous cube can engulf and carry a tiny or smaller object weighing up to 5 lbs, but cannot manipulate objects. Additional bonus power: Cleans your floors like a roomba. |
| #2archangel_jamesSep 03, 2009 10:22:30 | The mental image of a mini cube scooting around cleaning the floor has made my morning. Thank you. |
| #3AttilatheNunSep 03, 2009 13:10:03 | While I also appreciate the idea of my own personal g-cube roomba, this would be better off in the homebrew forum. |
| #4night_falcon_02Sep 04, 2009 7:07:04 | It is very early and I wish I wasn't up. But the idea of a gelatinous cube familiar is frankly better than coffee and now I want one lol. |
| #5Dane_McArdySep 04, 2009 8:14:17 | Funny and clever. |
| #6DragoncatSep 04, 2009 12:19:59 | For some reason, the image of a sorceress in a bathtub using her minicube familiar as a sponge, its mildly acidic surface perfectly suited for smoothing skin is stuck in my head. I'm sure this image remains because of intellectual curiosity, and not because of smexy mages and adorable familiars. |
| #7AbdulAlhazredSep 05, 2009 9:20:29 | Honey, where's the cat? |
| #8antiochSep 06, 2009 0:59:37 |
I can haz cublet? |
| #9The_SilverswordSep 06, 2009 1:16:21 | Hell yeah! Any one else got some homebrew familiars? I really want a tressym, the winged cats from forgotten realms. |
| #10DargurdSep 06, 2009 1:18:39 | This is possibly one of the best ideas yet for a familiar - mind you i keep thinking of movie from some time back, can't remember what it was called but 'Flubber' springs to mind :-) |
| #11pbnSep 06, 2009 1:36:03 | I think homebrew has a thread of familiars (or was it campaign and adventure - I'm not sure) - To the OP - you should add yours to the list.

The default Cat from Arcane power actually has vestigile bat wings. |
| #13melloredSep 06, 2009 10:24:02 | How bout a mini rust monster? |
| #14ADHadhSep 06, 2009 17:01:36 | How big is that "mini" G-Cube? |
| #15KalnaurSep 06, 2009 17:29:35 |
Tiny sized. As it states. So reference page 282 of the original PHB to see what it says about Tiny Creatures. |
