First off, I love the idea of controlling undead minions, something lacking (so far..) from official 4e.

But, you should consider replacing the warlock Lvl 1 encounter powers, they distract from the classes role as a controller. Burst or blast powers perhaps? Maybe ones that emanate from your minions would be a cool mechanic, and work well with the concept as a guy who sends his minions out into risky situations that he doesn't want to get into.

Perhaps limit him to one or two attack abilities, so far I see int, con and str as attack abilities. In my experience, two is difficult to manage as is!

Original

Dread Knight

The Dread Knight Necromancer specializes in dealing necrotic damage with spells and attacks. He drains life in order to gain his powers.
The Dread Knight is more about dealing lots of damage to individual foes and gaining from powers that play off their intent. Constitution and possibly Strength will be necessary for this Necromancer, for he shouldn’t be afraid to get into melee combat himself, if required.
Suggested Feat:Dark Fury (Human feat: Action Surge)
Suggested Skills:Arcana, Heal, Intimidate, Religion
Suggested At-Will Powers:Pestilance, Unholy Brand
Suggested Encounter Power:Shield of Flesh
Suggested Daily Power:Open Wounds

Personally, I like Pigknight's Death Knight class better. So far, it does the best with Necromancy in 4e. Also, you might want to check the Summon Undead class feature, seeing as they can summon an undead minion of any level, since it doesn't specify anything.

I was going to create specific creatures for the feats. They aren't technically undead, they are conjurations with an undead flavor. It's something I haven't gotten to. I will look at this Death Knight....

EDIT: It's more melee than this is supposed to be, but it looks like a nice complement. I will be changing the "Death knight" build to something that sounds more caster-y.
