Armor specialization (plate)

Dec 26, 2009 13:08:07		I noticed that plate armor spec is the only one that only receives the +1 bonus to AC, no check or movement reduction.  Taking specialization really makes scale superior IMO because you end up with only1 less AC while having no check penalty at all and no movement reduction. 

I'm wondering if anyone thinks it would be too much to let plate spec grant a +2 bonus instead of just +1.

Dec 26, 2009 19:19:53 		I think +1 AC (or, conversely, +1 to-hit) is pretty significant in 4e.  I think the feat is fine...but that's just me.

Dec 27, 2009 1:11:01 		If you really want to wear plate and reduce the check and speed penalty, you should take the Adamantine Soldier epic destiny.  Giving Plate Specialisation this ability would just reduce some of the benefits granted by the Adamantine Soldier ED.
