Preamble:

I played for over a year a long campaign, yuan-ti based (on Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting) and in two or three months it will reach the epic final battle.

Specifically, the final battle will be against Sybil the Serpent (from 3rd ed. Serpent Kingdom) an half-fiend yuan-ti abomination whose aim it's to become a god, exactly the new reincarnation of yuan-ti deity Sseth.

The place of the encounter will be The Silent Temple (from 3rd ed. Planar Handbook) in the Viper Pit (from 2nd ed. Power & Pantheons) in the 74th layer of the Abyss, Smargard (from 3rd ed. Manual of the Planes).

And so:

For this epic final encounter i want to use some epic background music to emphasize the drama of the battle and boost the players (and mine) adrenaline.
So i chose the magnificient "Dies Irae" by W.A.Mozart (you can hear it here if it's unkwon to you).
But this masterpiece is too short for my needs, so i'm looking for other background musics to use, something similar that can be hear after the end of Dies Irae, but so far I've not found anything.

People from other community suggest me videogame ost, metal songs, anime bgm, but these are not what i seek. I need something epic, possibly in Latin, and of course adrenaline.

For example, the "Dies Irae" by Giuseppe Verdi is good but it's impossible to join with the one by W.A.Mozart cause they are too different.
If can you show me some tracks well suited, that you used in your campaigns, it will be very useful! Laughing

Any help would be great! Wink

You should look up the Warhammer 40k sound track, they have some pretty epic music, especially for a final battle as the one you describe

If you can get your hands on them, try to get some of the compilations made by Two Steps From Hell. The tracks are short, but many of them are epic in every sense of the word

Wagner's Magic Fire Music from Die Valkyre or Seigfried's Death and Funeral Music perhaps, and of course Ride of the Valkyre's, again by Wagner.

The Conan the Barbarian Soundtrack is pretty cool and is classical. You might find something useful there. Riddle of Steel/Riders of Doom and Battle of the Mounds might work.

Ennio Marconi is also pretty good and dramatic with his Western Scores, but different.
