I was surprised to find that there were no Humans of levels 5 or 6 in the Monster Manual, but that's OK, as I enjoy making up my own monsters/NPCs. Most of the warriors of the Free Cities practice a combination of mystical arts and martial disciplines. Few have any taste for the flashy magics of wizardry, and being a suspicious people, warlocks are not long tolerated. They have their own brand of magic, often ingrained into the use of weapons. Tarthans in general, and the Balacrut in particular, are very suspicious of outsiders, for reasons they are reluctant to discuss. As such, when an emissary is dispatched to a foreign country, he is well protected, often accompanied by as many as a dozen Tarthan warriors. The hope is that potential enemies are discouraged by their numbers, and further intimidated by the Balacrut's reputation for ruthlessness. So, without further ado, some Balacrut NPCs. Feel free to use these in your own campaigns. |

(Note I think Ongoing Damage 1 is a bit annoying as far as tracking minutiae goes) I believe that class is dead, at least for now. I haven't had much inspiration lately in regards to it, so I'll remove the link from my sig. If I ever decide to finish it, I'll just post a new thread. |
