| #1GMforPowergamersOct 25, 2008 13:24:37 | Ok, so in our gameing group most of us have been playing 15+ years, and are use to homebrewing and house ruleing editions...for somereason this edition we are more...careful to modifie though but we have been talking about some home brew idea's for strikers and I would like some input... Paragon Feat: Brutal Sneak Attack: (Rogue) Pre req: Dex 17+, Wis 13+ Benefit: When you roll sneak attack damage you may reroll 1's on your dice disregarding any roll below 2. Special: If you have back stabber re roll 1's and 2's.... Deadly Hunter: (Ranger) Pre req: Wis 17+, Str 13+ Benefit: When you roll hunter's quarry damage you may reroll any die that comes up maximum of it's type and re roll it and add both numbers to your damage Special: If you crit on a hunter roll, do max +1D4 per tier rerolling max Limit: you can never reroll the same die twice...double max is the best you can get Curse Backlash: (Warlock) Pre req: Cha 15+, Wis 13+ Benefit: Once per encounter when a target of your warlocks curse makes a save to successfully end an effect you placed on them, you may as an immediate interrupt apply your curse damage to them...even if you have already used it this round. Double whammy: (Warlock) Benefit: If you strike 2 or more cursed targets with an area of effect power you may apply your warlock curse a second time, but not twice to the same target. |

| #3kuonjiDec 23, 2008 10:00:07 | Paragon Feat: You might end up rolling several times, especially in the 1 & 2 reroll case. If you are OK with that, then no problem. Alternatively you might consider treating 1's as 2's and 1's and 2's as 3's. Deadly Hunter: (Ranger) Wordy. Suggestions: Benefit: When you roll your Hunter's Quarry damage, you may roll an additional damage die for each maximum damage result rolled on the Hunter's Quarry damage dice. These additional dice do not generate further bonus rolls. I'm not sure what you mean to do with the "Special" portion of the feat. One thing to note, a person with Lethal Hunter feat (d8's instead of d6's) can potentially get less benefit from this feat (1/6 vs. 1/8). Curse Backlash: (Warlock) Reword the benefit as an encounter power. Benefit: You gain the Curse Backlash encounter power. Curse Backlash Encounter Arcane, Implement Immediate Interrupt Trigger: A target cursed by you successfully saves against an ongoing effect placed on them by you. Effect: Deal your curse damage. Special: You may deal this damage even if you have already dealt your curse damage this round. Double whammy: (Warlock) You should define "area of effect power" with 4ed terms. Do you mean blast or burst powers or would, for example, a power that allows you two attacks also apply? *Note: I don't know if these feats are balanced or not. Just pointing out what I see as issues with them in their current form. |

Reword the benefit as an encounter power. that is so perfect thank you again... You should define "area of effect power" with 4ed terms.
