#1 demontongue Oct 13, 2008 3:39:27	Usually I get on here and post what I'm working on and maybe here and there I'll comment on stuff that interests me. So, I figure I'll get a read on what you guys want. Cast your votes and whatever class has the most votes I'll have something out to 20th level with 2 paragon paths by friday (in time for the weekend). It's an undertaking to be sure but I like the challenge. I feel I have a knack for fast gen-ing homebrew classes and I want help and to talk about them so I can test them (confounding my gm and fellow players) and we can all enjoy. If you can't think of a specific class just throw out a role. If you know the class pls list the role you want it to fill. If you, the people, are satisfied with the end result and might be interested in some of my other builds I always welcome comments.
#2 anubis_reynard Oct 13, 2008 12:52:20	A Primal Defender Druid, in the same style (read: dailies have encounter long effects) as the Playtest Barbarian. (I wrote up a sample mark and a rough concept, but everything else eluded me) A Primal Controller Sorcerer, in the same lines. The Races and Classes preview book even mentions that his spells would leave auras around him. A Divine controller. a Divine striker Monk. (I'm against the idea of a "I come from japan" power source like Ki)
#3 demontongue Oct 15, 2008 23:17:12	so divine controller seems to be the order of the day since it interests me more than the others, the monk is a lock for ki power. Ok. how about... the Favored Soul? They'd be Ah! My Goddess themed... With angels (not very special mechanics-wise just FX not the monsters) that do stuff for them... A god has chosen you for one reason or another. Perhaps you are descended from whatever family line he ascended from or once mingled with. Mayhaps the god needs a profit but whatever the case it has bound a loyal servitor to you to see to your defense and well being. This entity is yours to command for good or ill. Sometimes the power corrupts but just as often this servant becomes a trusted friend. Perhaps the builds are Angel/Demon... you are favored buy something and it has sent a servitor to you... Perhaps the control could operate on the principles of Auras, forced movement and mobility... Hmmm- At wills Iron Soul Wing - Close Burst 2... Your Angel's wings lash out dealing Radiant damage. Gaze of Justice - Your Angel makes eye contact with your foe and the weight of his sins breaks his heart and slows his feet. Psychic damage and Slowed... Infernal Brand - Close blast 3 Your Servitor's mark ignites letting flames rage forth d4+cha and ongoing 2. Monstrous Swipe - Close burst 1 damage and push Encounter - Divine Circle... Your Angel sings a circle and creates a Zone that hides your allies(grants cover and concealment to allies in the Zone)
