| #1Style75Apr 06, 2010 13:04:40 | I'm planning on running the Chaos Scar: Chance Encounters module tomorrow night. This is the one from Dungeon Magazine where a caravan of religious fanatics is attacked by the PC's and then giant ants. As a result of the battle, a wagon falls in a hole and a fell taint is released from its prison. I can't remember the issue it was in, but it was at least 2 months ago, maybe 3 or 4. Anyways..... I was wondering if anyone has run this one yet and if so, do you have any advice or tips. I really want this session to be special because I'm bringing in two new players (to our group, not to D&D) and I'm going to use this encounter as the fight sequence in what should be a great role playing session. All suggestions appreciated. Thanks! |

Given the ant's tactics, I'd be inclined to have them come out as a pack so that Pung and his group have a chance to do something. With so many minions the fight can be over really quickly. |
