Thought you might want a share: docs.google.com/document/d/1qGp7iJ-3Egbf... The project is not that advanced, and does not manage to get you through heroic tier, but it's all work in progress, and I'll get there eventually ^^ The race creation is especially neat, since you can basically make the character in your head, and then give it all the powers and features you want :D Almost all number-crunching has been simplified, so making a character should now only take about 1-2 hours, even if you have to look at all the possibilities before you can write them down. This is a huge improvement imo. There are some altered rules in there, such as the removal of immediate and opportunity actions (replaced with "triggered actions") and the removal of shifting. Triggered Actions: You can take as many triggered actions you like per turn, but you can only take one action per trigger. So if a single event would trigger two of your abilities, you have to choose which one it triggers. Shifting: Now only defenders can make "opportunity attacks". These attacks are triggered actions. Controllers, Defenders and terrain are now the primary ways of hindering/modifying movement, since you can move around enemies without a penalty. This does make flanking easier and make the game work less like chess ( a bad thing in some eyes, a good in others). This will hopely make combat more vivid and alive due to the added mobility of all creatures, and the added usage of terrain and movement affecting abilities in combat. |
