SPOILER for my group, ruin it if you want Okay, here's the summary (3.5 ed): One player began to write a story about the WIZ daughter of her Rogue she used in a previous campaign. She has a Cleric sister. Upon finally able to get our group back to playing again, she decided to hold off writing much more and play her WIZ in a campaign to see if she can get played out events from it. Usually when noone picks a healer, I usually just have an NPC Cleric run with the party and not do much more than throw some heals around. But the players thought it would be neat to have that cleric be the cleric sister from the story as well, so I rolled her up. The party is an archer, fighter, wiz, and wiz/rge with the NPC cleric (Heal/Luck domain). We will be having a Bard and another fighter join starting next session so I was kind of hoping to NOT have 7 people running around. The Cleric has a spouse Pally that is no impact on the game at this time. In character development in the story, the player WAS going to have her WIZ be a single female throughout, but began to take a liking to the Pally. So, she hasn't written it yet, but plans to have the cleric die off one way or another in the story and then just have the WIZ end up with the PAL. I was kind of hoping I could spice that up a bit. Here's what I was thinking: I would like for the end result to be the PAL fall for the WIZ (either naturally or even so much as have the Cleric get imprisoned and upon "wishing" her out either come out crazy/evil or the efreeti make the PAL obsessed with the WIZ), and the Cleric to pretty much go mad and disappear. That way the Cleric can go on as an arch-enemy of the wiz. 1) As a DM, I used to just make stuff happen. "okay, the cleric is now evil...she is now {this}", etc. However, what are the best ways to handle this by the book? A cleric going from Lawful Good to probably Neutral(ish) Evil; change of Domains? change of god? Do I even remove Turn Undead and replace with Command Undead? 2) Any other input or ideas?
