I mean, 1d8 to one creature or 1d12 to one demon versus 1d12 to up to eight undead means its a pretty sharp potential opportunity cost (at level 1). Then again, Pelor's does seem like one of the stronger ones. VR (minus the healing) versus say, Corellon's Grace, does seem to compare favorably. Mostly my problem is that the various Divinity feats do not seem balanced with one another... Making the change now, though. |

I would only increase the die size by one if its a demon or undead, this seems to be the theme with powers that very with monster type attacked.. and about the power of channel divinity, as long as your power is no more powerful the Rage of tempus it should be fine. IMO the Rage of tempus is the most powerful, and blows the others out of the water, basically it turns one hit into a crit if it was done with a weapon but if you miss you wasted your channel divinity. the paladin in my group basically kills one guy on the first turn even if it is 2-3 levels higher than him (elite and solo not included). |

I couldn't find any, so I was basing it off the extra crit damage from the Dragonslayer weapon. Though checking the AV, a lot of those weapons do 1d6 in general but 1d12 to certain types. and about the power of channel divinity, as long as your power is no more powerful the Rage of tempus it should be fine. That's... a really powerful effect. |
