| #1onemanhordeMay 15, 2009 7:22:10 | Alot of my players missed the abbility to apply metamagic feats to their spells (we play a party made of all arcane characters). And so I descided, with my free time to create some metamagic feats they could use. Each feat provides a power with the metamagic keyword to be used alongside Arcane Attack Powers. And I am giving them to you guys to have a look over, hopefully play with and give em some feedback. Though we have found them to be quite balanced in play its always good to have more eyes on the rules. Some of them (Enlarge Spell) are simmilar to the official version only more open to who can take them (All Arcane Classes can take all Metamagic Feats). I hope to put together more, and also a paragon path at some point. The rules are currently available in 3 ways. Not including the rules as written below. Scribd - Can read online or download the PDF, I think download may require sign up. Keep and Share - No sign up just download the PDF. Torrent - P2P torrent. I don't expect many to use this but im seeding it 24 hours a day and I always think torrent are the best way to distribute things. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

The Metamagic Keyword. A Keyword can allow you to do all sort of things, grant bonuses through feats/Paragonpaths/Epic Destinies. I always hated the little Special Disclaimer on feats cause not many people memorise it and so it slows down gameplay with looking up rules. With a single Keyword for all Metamagic Feat Powers, everyone knows, you can apply one metamagic power to one power. And you can only use a power with the metamagic keyword once a round. Also, because my rules (especially enlarge spell) is different to theres, they can't come and attack me. With Lawyer Ninjas. |

I don't know what's wrong with it, but I do know something is wrong. I dunno.. i'll keep thinking about it. While we're on the subject, you may want to add Energy Admixture, and Energy Substitution? Both probably work well for paragon. And you need to add access rights on Keep and Share for individual accounts to view/ download. my username is lineov. |

The reason for this can preatty much be seen here. EDIT: Something that jsut occured to me. Could it possibly be the requirments being to restricting on each power that is making it seem off.? |
