Keep in mind that all fluff is still usable, there may not be 4e stats but there are stilol more than enough ideas to spread into a standard campaign setting or homebrew. |
| #3cha-ikaDec 28, 2010 19:50:12 | There are more than a few people on here that have been designing a horror campaign, check some of there stuff out for some pretty neat ideas. |
| #4bone_nagaDec 28, 2010 21:15:50 | There were a lot of setting like MCWoD and Call of Cthulhu that were adapted for 3e, but I don't know of any currently available for 4e. If you don't mind doing the work, you can look back at some of the older stuff and adapt it. |

Main themes I have noticed is the Gothic setting, the Villain, and the Heroes. The Setting usually consist of nice places during the day yet somehow are horribly dangerous at night. Bitter winters. Nasty monsters just outside the town. Things like that. The Villain is HUGE in these games. They are usually very overpowered, but have one increadible weakness. The Heroes, of course, are of great importance. It's best if they are good/pure, but having at least one dark one is a lot of fun. Throw in some madness, fear, crazy monsters, and at least one sexy vampire seductres...I think you got yourself a good horror game ^^ |
