| #1meisfredOct 30, 2008 3:42:14 | I've decided to try and make "my own" campaign setting using Hyrule from the first Legend of Zelda game. I'm going to keep the overworld and the 9 labyrinths the same as well as the story (figured this would be easier than trying to mess with it all). There are a few thing i will change and that will be the shops and what they sell as well as the old guys inside the labyrinths, i will also use those rooms as a place for the PC's to rest without getting disturbed. I have access to all the maps on the game detailing where everything is/appears and how many of each (monsters, items, labyrinth entries, all that sort of stuff). There are a few things i would like some help on/pick your brains about. I need some ideas about how to D&Datise the Zelda enemies. Also how to D&Datise the Zelda items. I'm most likely going to start this campaign at level 5. |

Because the game will need progression: In DnD its' levels, items, and story* in Zelda I, it's just hearts and items with a vague "get this story". use/make normal, magic, and "Link" items. The swords should be easy to stat, when unharmed you make make a ranged basic attack with this sword kind of thing, stunning boomerang, etc. * = ish |

I do know that i'm not going to have respawning enemies like in the game (once you leave a screen and then go back to it). The only things i really need help with is what D&D monsters to replace the Zelda ones with and coming up with ideas for how the weapons would work. |

It's a bit different from DnD, but its easy to adapt all the stuff or throw some things away (like the classes, but keeping the monsters and items, for example). I don't recall where exactly I got it, but there's probably a note at the beginning or the end detailing who made it and all so you could Google it up by that. |

Its pretty cool, i'm gonna have a flick through it later and see how i could adapt it and see how that goes. |
