Specifically, is mixing damage types a very large advantage? At the moment, I'm working on a couple of powers for a leader-type class. I'm envisioning the powers moving from a "low" amount of damage to a "high" amount of damage. Naturally, I'm going to do that by increasing the number of dice they use to roll the damage, but also I wanted to represent that by shifting from one damage type to another. For example, shifting from 1. thunder damage to 2. lightning and thunder damage, & finally to 3. lightning damage. So, I guess my question is: Is lightning & thunder damage "less than" pure lightning damage? My gut says no. What do you think? |

With your example, if you run into a creature with either lightning or thunder resistance, it will not resist any damage that is both thunder and lightning. |
