| #1daybreakerdhampyrJun 28, 2009 0:00:36 | After watching the trailer for Daybreakers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV-RIxL5aA4 I've decided to build a campaign around a similar idea...but I'm considering making a Dhampyr PC for the campaign and I really need to find a copy of the Dhampyr feats/info...I know it's DDI but my subscription is out and I can't renew it @ the moment...anyone have a copy or any link to the info? Ps. Not quite sure what I want my PC to be- sort of like the Death Dealers from the Underworld Trilogy, but I don't have MP either to actually take that class...my available sources are: MM, PHB, DMG, FRCS, FRPG, PHB II, AP, All 3 H-Series Modules Any ideas for possible PCs/Campaign stuff? [Yes, I liked the trailer so much I made a new screen name. ] |

If you absolutely have to have a character tag along with the PCs, just make him an NPC (using NPC stats, not PC stats) which also absolves you from having to have any of the appropriate rules on hand. In either case, make absolutely sure that this character does not out-shine the real PCs. Speaking of which, I doubt anyone on the boards will point you to the full DDI info, since it is against the terms of use to reprint it (there might be some posts around here that would let you reconstruct it, though). I'm not sure what class from MP you were referring to, either. Death Dealer isn't a class. MP doesn't have any exclusive classes, but it does have a lot of new powers and options for martial classes - such as ranger or rogue, which it sounds like you might be interested in. The PHB should give you almost everything you need to play either of those. Obviously, MP has more options. |
