Suggestion for a Heroic-Tier divine-class feat.
Basic idea is to have a feat which grants the divine class proficiency with the deity's weapon (if (s)he doesn't have it already) as well as providing a Rogue Weapon Talent-like bonus to that weapon. I hope that the power increase is suitable for the tiers in question.

Deity's Weapon Talent
Requirements: Heroic tier, any divine class.
Benefit: You gain proficiency with your Deity's prefered weapon if you aren't proficient with it already. The damage die of that weapon increases one step if it deals 1d6 or less damage, or gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls if it deals 1d8 or more damage.

Deity's Weapon Specialisation
Requirements: Paragon tier, any divine class, Deity's Weapon Talent.
Benefit: You become more proficient in the use of your deity's weapon, increasing its damage die by one step if it originally dealt 1d8 or more damage, or gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls if it originally dealt 1d6 or less damage.

Deity's Weapon Mastery
[b]Requirements: Epic tier, any divine class, Deity's Weapon Talent, Deity's Weapon Specialisation.
Benefit: You master your deity's prefered weapon, increasing its critical threat range by 1 point. The weapon also becomes high crit if it wasn't already.

Some PHB deities and their prefered weapons:
Bahamut: War Pick
Corellon: Longsword
Ioun: Quarterstaff
Kord: Greatsword
Morradin: Warhammer
Pelor: Morningstar

These look fine on their own.

The only issue is players finding ways to stack many +1s ending up 3 or 4 points ahead of the curve through combinations opened up by having many small feats granting essentially another variant of "+x to-hit".

So type the to-hit bonus (a feat bonus?)

As a player looking for something falvourful, I'd prefer a weapon-specific encounter power, with a "Martial+Divine" slant, but of course that requires creating many more powers (or at the very least one for axes, one for swords, one for quarterstaffs etc etc).
