Hi everyone! Here is the first few pages of my first adventure that I've designed myself. I have run a couple of Wizards adventures and wanted to do my own. Do people think this is the right sort of thing rules wise etc.? and more importantly is it interesting? Does it make you want to play it? I would love any constructive critism you guys have to offer.

Solid enough. I would flesh out the NPC personalities more -- think of characters from your favorite books or movies, what makes them memorable? Use quirks, mannerisms, speech patterns to create interesting NPCs that become more than just quest dispensers.

Also, not sure of the purpose of players starting in one city, and then travelling to the insect city.  Why not simply have the players start in the insect city and have them be a part of the insect invasion. To me, it seems you're missing a great encounter opportunity that also serves the purpose of telling a lot of your intro story instead of an after the fact recount of the story by NPCs. You could run it as say one combat encounter and one skill challenge to drive off the insects.

But there's a solid beginning here for you.
