#1 usergary543 Feb 27, 2012 5:56:20	I am currently working on getting 4th so my 3rd will have to stand in for now. I Would like to do this campaign. Due to the Fact i have been working on this setting for a few years now. I have drawn much of the world it's self. It is set for any kind of campaign but what i see allot is that there are few Military Campaign settings.    Background: The world it's self is a time where elves rule. Where dragons once ruled the lands with elves in the past. Two Powerful Elven nations rule. Kingdom of Seth and Redness pus a third smaller kingdom of Dark Elves, Valledrea. Three Kingdoms are Human Seats of power but they are still young nations. Port a Huge city to the east is important to trade. Dreyland is a city of soldiers. Many Dwarven Halls are set across the land deep into the mountains. Much of the content has Ancient forest and a huge fresh water lake.    Plot line:A fallen God named Destroyer former god of war has set out to destroy all other gods. He has built a huge army to invade. He has Floating fortresses ten of them in the first wave. Now from some research i think the Raptors  from Races of the Wild or Dragonborn in 4th would be good servants. The favored His Allies Would Be the King of the North. Seven Wizards,13 orc tribes.  This would take place up north while Shandaria a human kingdom protected by A Sorceress Queen. would be attacked. As the Destroyer would defile temples destroy hero's or champions who oppose him. Shandaria is a city protected by legions who patroll there lands.Delithrth hall would be invaded by Destroyer. it would all be sacked or taken over. While this is happening, the adventurers would start in town called Three Rivers. I have several adventures planned.  Wanting it to be flexible for any kind of campaign. Other Notes: I have made a list of Dragon Gods any one can warship as well as other gods. For the campaign world. It would be too long to post but suffice to say i have tried to cover as many gods as possible. What other allies would Destroyer have ? What would be a good name for the Contenet ? what else could i used to strengthen the storyline ? Write a story ?.  Note:My spell check does not work so sorry for the spelling mistakes it being so early in the morning.
#2 usergary543 Feb 28, 2012 5:17:50	Well it seems there needs to be more details. Well lets start with three Rivers While the above is happening. In this world elves have two nations. Three rivers is in the South West in the West Wood or better known as the Western Heartlands.  Kingdom of Saeyth is more of an open kingdom. Three Rivers is a Elven Town but it is Diffrent than most other towns. River boats float down from Amalis Seheara a City of Arts to trade with Three Rivers. It also is unique in the fact that Elves, Dwarfs and Humans all live in this town. Farms dot the area mostly tended by human settlers. The town it's self uses building's  both human elven or Dwarven. It is a fronteer town. Captain Verith(W/Elf0 who has a company of elven warriors is Commander of the Town. A long time soldier he knows this area well.  L.T. Ernoth StoneBinder(D)(Aristocrat) is the towns constable. High Preist Nes'fera Avelreen who tends the temple of Corellion Lethrion. Master Archatecht  Nobreen Grinder(D) designed many of the buildings that are non elven. even a few river boats. Master of Resorces Traniss Earthweaver.(H) Guardian of Nature Tari ( Druid)(W/Elf) Keeper of the Lore(Wizard)(H/elf) Town History. From a small tradeing post or stop over for travelers. It has become now a farming/river boat community. The elves are open with the town but unlike the High Elfs of the North West. They are more welcomeing to outsiders. This Town was made for outsiders who do not understand elven ways or respect there forests. Three Rivers its self even trades father down into the Three Kingdoms. The area has a great deal of wild life. Also The elves have been teaching human farmers how to understand nature. So they know what wood to use and farm better.  With news of war in the north there have been many heros dispached to find magic items or quests. Talk of war is on every ones mind.  Well it is not the only starter town but the first. I hope it gives you some insight into the world. I wanted to go big then small. I have drawn out the town. I will post it. if you like but i need to redo the Contenet map since my first one is getting worn out but i will post it. Any Suggestions ?
#3 cha-ika Feb 28, 2012 14:37:51	I think it's not a that we need more information, It's that we need clarified information. Like.... Ok there are two Powerful Elf Nations, Three fledgeling human kingdoms, and a spattering of dwarven holds throughout the land scape. Right there I'd say that you've miss classified this when you called it a land ruled by elves. I'll agree that they're the most pwoerful nations but the other groups aren't bending their knee to them and giving them total power. AND what exactly is the role of the dark elves in your world...I unsertand they are there but why? are they a rogue nation hated by all? are they a surprisingly hekpful naiton of darkelves that goes aginst pretty much all pre defined concepts??? Saying your world like elf controlled is like saying America Rules Canada and Mexico...Yes we have the largest military out of the three countries but they're not letting us rule them by any means. Next, where are the dragons? you said they once ruled alongside the elves, but what does that mean exactly? why are they no longer doing that? did they die off? are they in exile? did they just get lazy? Where have all the dragons gone? Why is this fallen god waging a war on mortals? I feel as though angry gods that want revenge immedietly go and take it out on mortals with very little reasoning behind it. It's like if someone fires me from my job and so to get revenge I go and start attacking ants or flies... It might make me feel better to end their tiny lives in some weird way...but it does nothing to those that really angered me. Lastly these allies of the "Destroyer"....how big of a threat IS his army really? like ok the Norhtern King (which I'm not sure how important he is) Seven Wizards (which got to be countered in some way by Wizards allied to the none evil side) and 13 orc tribes.... Which seems scary until you realize that tribes are in general smaller than kingoms and empires and probably have a smaller standing military then there larger counter parts. All in all I get this feeling that there isn't much of a threat here...like OK some fallen god with a chip on his shoulder has decided to take his anger out on us for some reason....he has cool floating fortreses which are annoying....but then his army consists of seven wizards, some northmen, and the orc tribes....Right so let's just get all the kingdoms together have a big battle and push this bastard off our land. If you want to make this really good, take a step back and really figure out the history of this land, the relationships between the governemnts, where the dragons are....all the small details that make a world great.
#4 usergary543 Mar 01, 2012 6:41:53	I have figured it out first the elves dont just subjgate every one. They are more closed off protective of there realms. Aloof but wary of new threats. Now as to the Back Story as to why and whom that will take a long time in telling. Due to the Fact that it has been mostly worked out by me over the span of Sevral real years. So i will have to post the entire thing. That was a glimpse at what is happening at present. So these nations will be working togeather to Unite there armys send people on important quests. It adds more to it when you see a storm on the Horizon. What actions do you take ?. I will have to post it all to be of use as to Whom what where and why ?. Even in Established Realms it changes due to the DM and such. I will try to put it out there for it to be understandable and Enlighten those who wish to know more. I will add as i go. Starting from the begining.

Was a tome that was the Church of Lights Pride and joy.  A young Alcolite Named Henton was dusting the shelves in this forgotten part of the church. Sneezed as the dust flew all over. He had been sent to do this becuse of he had made a unplesent smell during prayers out in the Churchs White Marble Cortyard. Seven Churches With the Church of Light admistered this place in Star Coast Mountains. This was the Head Church that admistered all of its other outposts, temples and churches. Henton was lucky to read well being a scribe. He seemed to get into troubble when he joined wanting to do more than write dispaches for people day in and day out." He looked at the books but the white cover with ornate gold writeing caght his eye. " Humm i will take a peek. Then get back to work." Takeing down the book Henton read some of it quite sirprised at what it contatained. His mind was eager to read more. So he went back to read it again. His teacher Prior Willams Spotted the young man looking over a book on a table. while dusting. He watched him from afar. Unseen as Hention  read some of the book then put it away to finish his work. The next day Henton was sirprised to see Prior Willams waiting for him with the veary book he read. After volenteering to dust the shelves again. The Prior waved a had to the young man to sit down. Henton was looking down at the table concerned he did wrong." Henton." Henton felt it comeing the blow that was about to happen. Then suddenly the oddist thing happened." I would like you to tell me what you read.?" A thousand things went into Hentons mind all at once. " Well ah..lets see it Talked about the formation of how our world begain. How Dragons with other good beings broght light into our world. How they banished the Fire and Darkness that held onto our world in its grip. It explained the first gods. Dragon Gods who were the first to inhabit a young world. Dragons were formed from the first gods. Then Came the Elves. Children of Nature. The Age of Myth it was called when the Tree of Life with the gods guidence breathed in new life to new races with gods springing forth as the first." Hention stoped looking at Prior Willams licking his lips with a duster in his hands fidgiting. Prior Willams nodded. " This is one of our most sacred tomes becuse not only does it tell of the gods it tells of our godess. Garttenddariconten Rules over all as the Star Dragon. Our Goddes the Lady of Light. Also Known as Golden Dawn some call her is Ardrandirllieren. Her sister the Silver One and our Sister Church is Drentallsarshinn. Lady of the Moon."   "You stoped at a veary important part. The Elves were afflicted by evil who ruled along Aside wth dragon's in peace. Destroyer the Fallen war god had inadvertenly let demons back in as the Elfs were trying to establish gateways to allow them to be transported across the Silver Moon Empire. The Result was. These Demons with some Devils who breached the Curtian between worlds was broken. Timat was suspected but it was never proven. In any case it was the Wargods job to defeat them keeping the world safe from fire and darkness. The Demons and Devils set out on seprate paths they both sabotoged the gates. So when the elves opened them hordes of Both sides would invade our world. Tiamt with Destroyer were observeing the gates. As they opened the Hordes poured out to attack. Timat and Destroyer both foght hard. Timat was his mother you see. She managed to seal the gates but she had to place apart of her power to do so. In time it corrupted her. Destroyer so enraged destroyed the gates and destroyed the Three Citys that were the Capital's for each of the elven races allong with the Demons or Devils in a twenty mile area. The Gates held tremendus magical power. They exploded from Destroyers Claws Rpping them down. The Gods Cast Down the War God on a Unnamed Contenet still young to be in Exile. The elves once three races became four. Wood elfs High Elves Dark Elves and the Twisted Drow who have sworn vengence on all. They have become bitter and evil retreating deep into the world." The Prior Finsihed Smiled at Henton Patting his shoulder as he stood up" You should become a historian. I was wondering what you would be good at here. Just know that all power must be used wisely. Knowlage is that key but it is experince that is the teacher to all of us. You may go i will find some one else to dust the shelves." The Prior Strode out of the room leaveing the book and the young man to look at the book behind.

He had set out on advenetures to recover some knowlage or artifacts for the church and his goddess. Henton had grown as has his faith. Prior Willams was stitting enjoying the fresh air of the main church. Spotting Henton he made his way over to the young man. " Back i see from another adventure." Henton nodded quietly."We had to help some Dwarf's who were traped underground. My freinds were able to battle into the place but it seems the Dawrf's mineing had opened some kind of elven crypt. They hid in a room as we shattered the dead. When it was safe we made an inspection. " Listening to the young preist's story he smiled nodding. " Well do you remeber that talk we had long ago. ?" Henton nodded respectfully to the Prior." This does relate to the evil. You see when those gates opened it had posioned creatures essence who had not been so before. Even the great dragon Queen Tiamat was the consort of the Star Lord. But as Day Falls into night it was not ment to be. New dragons arose new gods with the Queen Tiamat who was the Goddess of Evil. So begain evils rise to power.  They fight but never able to over power the light or other gods who remain aloof or unseen. Two new gods were chosen to replace the former war god. Both were the old war gods leutenits who served under him. One was good. The other evil reflectin of wars dual nature. Hallenturiannina the better side of war is known as the Bronze Blade for he favors none but those who make there own fortune. His brother Deathsinglartharrnoth represents the cruel twisted side of war. Known as  the Bloody Blade. As the world settled the Age of myth passed new evil gods took there place. The mortal's who sirvived the shattering of the great Dragon/elven empire swore to make new relms. Dragons became solitary after seeing there empire fall. High Elves rode north into the ivory woods to establish there kingdom. The Wood Elves made there homes in the West Wood. Humans at that time were tribal. We were not yet civillized. Some had been posioned by the evil let into the world. Like the dragons the elves were affected as well. The once noble Dark Elves were spit as those who's essance were posioned went deep underground to become the drow. The Dark Elves made there way to Firvan Wood it is now located near the great city of Port. It was during this migration they came into contact with the children of the earth the Dwarf''s. Well that is all for now my young freind. go rest." Patting the young preist on the shoulder. Prior Willams looked out from the enlarged cave out into the valley below. Henton went to get some much needed rest weary from his travel.
#7 usergary543 Mar 08, 2012 13:30:42	Welcome to the World of Mythal.(Just came up with a name please comment) A place of myths legends and lore. Starting with the Two great elven nations. I will post about important areas. Kingdom of Renaless:This High Elf Kingdom Lays in the Ivory Woods. It is surrounded by mountains. Many come to try to get ammtiance to this wonderus magical realm spending time in F.T. Felyn to do so. Only those who are elf freinded may enter. Or have buissness with the kingdom it's self. It has a large standing army. Also it has quite a few mages to call on in times of need.    Arnes: is the capitol of this mighty nation. This is the seat of power. Many tree homes surround the city its self. It has walls of liveing wood tended by druids. In the center of the city is the Royal Palace. Many trees laced togeather with a huge white tree in the middle. It is also the center for many churches in this region. The citizens who live here tend to be snobbish to those who are not elf dragon or such. They reamain aloof to strangers. They are polite in many respects. The city sits at the eadge of lake Starshine.  Vil'sae Calonna: on the other side of lake Star Shine. This small city is dedicated to the magical arts. Those intrested in the Arcane Arts. Many Mages, Bards or Sorcerers come here. Also most do for many magical items of all sorts. It is a intellectial center with one of the greatist libarys. Many have labs here to work on experements. Many noted mages who are non-elf are allowed here.  Tivan: is a small city dedicated to nature and the gods of nature. Druids, Rangers and Preists of Nature all commune here. It has many glades with sacred groves here as well. Wild Animals are comman, espeshally orphan animals. This is a good site for herbs of all sorts and It is known for its wild flowers.  Tiayr Corbar: Half Way up a mountain sits the City of Winds. Elves with a few Dawrf's live here togeather. Also based here is the Famed Sky Guard. Hippogriffs and Gryphons are used as mounts to patrol the skys. Many join regarless of what they are. Arcane Archers are prized for there blend of archery and magic. Rundul: A Costal City. It Maintains the Kindoms fleet of ships. It is a fishing community mostly with some trade comeing from south over the ochean. Not part of elven kingdom sits the Dawrven Kingdom of Abldator under the Jagged Eadge Mountain Range. It is not far from Val'Sae Calonna.  Both Kingdoms trade with each other as the dawrf's great hall is strong allies with the elves in ivory wood. They maintain a standing army. Also are a mineing/metal crafting community mostly.
#8 usergary543 Mar 13, 2012 7:53:07	Kingdom of Saeyth This wood elf kingdom is veary diffrent from there High elf kin. After The Shattering. The elves went west. They went south establishing the kingdom some 10,000 years ago. It is a tradeing powerhouse. Also they unlike there high elf cousins live simple lives in small communitys. Also they are more into art, nature and exploreing. High elves are more recluseive but freindly, while the Wood elves are more out going. Yanith: City Of Wonders. This city sits on lake Crecent Moon. It is a tradeing center, river boat community and distrobution center. Its wooden and stone walls give it an enchanted look. Merchant Houses exist here with Churches to the Money Changer Guild. This City is the tradeing center in the west. Trath:North of Yanith on Crecent Moon lake. Sits a small town that is the druid collage. Many races come all over to learn about the wild. Druids Rangers and Archers ushally vist here. It is here where many druids begin training. The Arch-Druid corndinates large events from here. It has a large library on nature and discoverys. Churches to the nature god's are here as well. Amalis Sehaera: City of the Arts. This City is widely famus for being not only a river boat community but it has sevral collages. From bard collages to Mage collages. It Is known for its parks where many artist are known to sculpt, paint or write. The Famed Blade Singers(3rds Complete Warrior) Are the champions of the Kingdom. Haveing blended song with magic to make it a battle art. It is rumored that a Dragon Adminsters the City but it is a rumor that has lasted some time now. Three Rivers: A small town that sits in the middle of three rivers. it is mostly a stop over point for river boats on the way down south to the Church or Order of Light it is known as well. It is a fronteer town near the border south. east is Moon Wood, South is Night Wood. both un explored places near lake Serenity. Farther South is the Trade with the Three Human Kingdoms.
