I've read the FRPG, and I quite like how divine paragon paths are open to all divine classes (as long as they worship the correct diety), rather than being limited to Clerics or Paladins. Would it damage game balance to open up the cleric and paladin paragon paths in the PHB in the same manner? For example, if Divine Oracle were open to any Divine character who worshiped a particular god of fate? Are there any potential gotchas with allowing clerics to take paladin PPs and vice versa? Obviously, I'll have to revisit all of this in March when PHBII comes out, but I appreciate your thoughts.
