I decided earlier to start translating Dragon Magic material from 3.5e to 4e for the enjoyment of all. I've already translated some dragonblooded races, and Draconic Heritage feat. So, I've decided to post a paragon path and some more draconic feats. But for now, I'm just posting the features:

Draconic Child
Prerequisite: Draconic Heritage feat, and one other Dragonblood feat
Features:

Draconic Body(11th): Choose one of the following benefits:
1. Unarmed attack hit die increases by one step
2. AC +2

Draconic Action(11th): Whenever you spend an action point, you may gain a fly speed (clumsy) equal to half the number of Draconic feats you have.

Energy of the Ancestor(16th): Your energy resistance from your Draconic Heritage feat improves to 5 + half your level.

Dragon's Talon Draconic Child Encounter 12
Encounter Ranged 10
Standard Action
target: One enemy within range
Damage: 2d8 + Cha modifier.
Effect: The benefits of any Draconic feat you have are increased by your Cha modifier.

Dragon's Hide
Martial, Stance Draconic Child Utility 12
Encounter
Standard Action
Target: self
Effect: You gain a bonus to your AC equal to the number of Draconic feats you have. If an enemy fails to penetrate on any attack, you may gain temporary hit point equal to half your Cha modifier .

Half-Dragon Draconic Child Daily 20
Stance
Daily Blast 3 (see text)
Standard Action
Effect: You gain a +3 bonus to AC, a fly speed equal to the number of Draconic feats you have, and a breath weapon (blast) that you may use once per encounter and deals damage equal to the number of Draconic feats you have x1d4. This last for a number of turns equal to the number of Draconic feats you have
Sustain Standard: The effect persists
Special: If you are bloodied, you gain one additional use of your breath weapon.

Draconic Child
Prerequisite: Draconic Heritage feat, and one other Dragonblood feat
Features:

Draconic Body(11th): Choose one of the following benefits:
1. Unarmed attack hit die increases by one step
2. Str +1
3. AC +2

First one is ok, Second one shouldn't be. +X to attribute was a design flaw of 3.5 and needs to stay there. Third one..I don't know probably isn't bad.
Draconic Action(11th): Whenever you spend an action point, you may gain a fly speed equal to your land speed + the number of Draconic feats you have

until end of encounter. Or until next extended rest. I think the first is better though. Drop the bonus to speed. Flight speed of 6-8 is bad enough. Also it should be clumsy.
Energy of the Ancestor(16th): Your energy resistance from your Draconic Heritage feat improves to 5 + half your level. Also, once per encounter, you may add to your attack a number of points equal to the number of draconic feats, and the damage type of the damage added is that of your energy type.

NOOOOOOOOOOO.
Thats for the attack boost, that is insane boost to attack. Other than that it should be ok.
Dragon's Talon Draconic Child Encounter 12
Encounter Ranged 10
Standard Action
target: One enemy within range
Damage: 3d8 + Cha modifier.
Effect: The benefits of any Draconic feat you have are increased by your Cha modifier.

I will have to wait to comment about the Effect, but reduce the damage to 2d8.
Dragon's Hide Draconic Child Utility 16
Encounter
Standard Action
Target: self
Effect: You gain a bonus to your AC equal to the number of Draconic feats you have. If an enemy fails to penetrate on any attack, you may gain temporary hit point equal to half your Cha modifier .

Needs Until end of next turn, or end encounter or Martial, Stance added on.
Half-Dragon Draconic Child Daily 20
Daily Blast 3 (see text)
Standard Action
Effect: You gain a +3 bonus to AC, a fly speed equal to the number of Draconic feats you have, and a breath weapon (blast) that you may use every other turn and deals damage equal to the number of Draconic feats you have x1d4. This last for a number of turns equal to the number of Draconic feats you have
Sustain Standard: The effect persists

Um. Dragons don't get to breathe every other turn. If I spend even just half my feats on Draconic Feats I would have 6d4 damage thats 15 average. This also needs 'until end of encounter' on it somewhere. Or 'Stance'

I know you're being sorta iffy on the Draconic feats, but I'm not gonna make that many. Also, I'm trying to make the Half-dragon power a bit less frequently used that dragons can use it. how often do they breathe?

They get two auto breaths an encounter, and recharges on a 5,6. In practice this means 1/3 rounds +2 with typically 3-5 in a combat.

I would suggest just giving them a breath and one if they are reduced to bloody. It would be mostly balanced then.

Also if you keep feats to like 3/tier it probably wouldn't be too bad.

Shouldn't your powers be at 11, 12, and 20, rather than 12, 16, 20?

@cragglerock: was hoping someone would catch onto that.

@ Aluman: I'm not talking about restricting this or that many feats per tier, I mean, not many in general. maybe 7 at most.
