| #1shorteJun 08, 2009 10:12:40 | ver 3.5 I've been play-testing a homemade Prestige Class for my DM. It has the player increase in size up to Gargantuan at level 10. The search feature has been a lil screwy. All I really need to know is: When a Medium character ( 5' tall, 300 lbs for example) is increase in size incrimints, what is the "official" numbers on height weight when increased to Large/Huge/Gargantuan/Colossal? I THOUGHT I read somewhere it's x2 Height and x4 Weight, but I am not sure. This would have the incriments of M/L/H/G/C at: 5' 300lbs/ 10' 1200lbs/ 20' 4800lbs(2.4 tons)/ 40' 19200lbs (9.6 tons)/ 80' 76800lbs (38.4 tons) While this scale has the Height in line with the Size Catagory Chart, the weight tails off as Gargantuan is supposed to be 16-125 tons and Colossal is supposed to be 125+ tons. Thanks for any help, links are welcome as well if anyoen knows where to find the info on the web. |
| #2NerpherderJun 08, 2009 18:04:03 | ver 3.5 I think the weight increase went something like this: Medium 300 Large 4 x 300 = 1200 Huge 6 x 300 = 72000 (3.6 Tons) Gargantuan 8 x 300 = 57600 (28.8 Tons) Colossal 12 x 300 = 691200 (345.6 Tons) not sure but I seem to remember the wight multiplier changeing with each size category. hope this helps, Nerp |

Assuming the PC retains the same basic shape, then volume should go up by the CUBE of the height. So x2 height means x8 volume and thus x8 mass. I'm pretty sure that's what the 3.5 SRD says as well. |
