Which is dumb considering that the Paragon Elemental feats have no requirements themselves, and things like weapon focus (which does the same effin thing) does not have a stat requirement either. Heck Wintertouch does not even have a stat requirement. So really it's a strange double standard that they had requirements for stats at all. "But non casters can more easily make the reqs now!" yeah and if non casters are dumb enough to pick up those feats instead of Weapon focus or a Racial weapon feat they deserve the one trick pony that they get. Aside from that as they are they are just as inaccessible to Casters as they were Non Casters. Also keep in mind I have the following house rule as well. (made to stop Wintertouched and Lasting frost from being on every rogue in existence, as well as people picking up the Elemental feats just to eek out more damage with their elemental weapons in the first place) Magical weapon properties for keyword purposes count for abilities and attacks but not for feats. (Can not get auto Ca, and the like for having a Frost weapon with Lasting Frost, and Winter touch.) They deal the damage type listed but do not add the keyword change for feat purposes.

#3 Cpt_Micha Nov 13, 2008 8:46:22	I would, because I don't like the connection much myself but I think the reason they are coupled together is to make the feats more appealing (since at every level you do not necessarily have access to X spell damage type)
