Interrogator Prereq: Trained in Insight Benefit: Whenever you use Insight you may roll an additional Insight check and take the best result. Superior Senses (Paragon) Prereq: Enhanced Senses, Interrogator Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to Perception and Insight skills. My first thought is whether or not the first two are necessary with the 4e Passive mechanic, but I've also read that many DM's aren't using Passive since that concept seems a little broken and far too situational. So I guess the first two are either for them, or for DM's who don't have a problem with an optional roll after a Passive check. For Superior Senses, making it a feat bonus means that it overlaps with Skill Focus, but provides less benefit, albeit to 2 skills instead of one. However, a character would have to take 3 feats (Skill Training in at least one of the two skills since there are no classes currently that allow for training in both skills, although there are ways around it, and the 2 noted prereqs) and be in Paragon to get it, so I'm thinking it's not overpowered. I'd like to hear more opinions though. PEACH. Thanks. |

The way they are written now they should be Epic, if you wanted them to more of a paragon lvl feat you should include Once per day, or as a daily power, then the feats as you have them now would be more paragon lvl. for "Superior Senses" I would make it a heroic feat and make a wisdom of 13 a prerequisite; the other thing I would do is state the bonus, I would suggest "feat" bonus. other than that its good Not bad, but needs balancing then some playtesting before I would allow them. Keep at it you have some good ideas. |
